Dataflow diagram for the process of purchasing glasses

Inthis case, the patient has to book an appointment with a doctor inorder to first get information on the type of glasses to purchase.The doctor will issue the patient with a prescription of the type ofglasses to purchase. It is after this that the customer can place anorder on the kind of glasses he/she requires. When the orderedglasses are ready, the customer has to be notified that his/her orderis ready. Apart from the customer being notified that his/her orderis ready, he/she is also notified on the payment issue for instance,the customer becomes informed on the price of glasses and how to payfor them. It is after receiving the payment information that thecustomer makes payment for the glasses and becomes issued with theglasses and a receipt to confirm the payment made.

Thisprocess will include various steps first, the purchaser of the realestate will request for information concerning the house that hedesires to purchase. The seller will provide the requestedinformation of the house to the buyer. This information can beretrieved from the house listing files maintained by the seller. Itis after reviewing the information of the house that the customer canmake an option of paying for the house. In this case, the buyer hasto follow the payment information provided in a sales contract. Thebuyer has to ensure that he fully comprehends the provisions of thesales contract in case there is a provision in the sales contractthat the buyer does not fathom, he should discuss the provision withthe seller. The buyer pays for the house according to the salescontract provision and his details are entered in a sales contractfile. On the other hand, the buyer maintains the seller informationin his file.

Inthe process of purchasing a video store, the customer has first ofall to request for information of the video store from the manager.Since the manager is best placed at understanding the running of thevideo store, he is best placed in providing the customer with all theinformation that he requires. The customer will require the managerto provide a variety of information concerning the video store. Thedata that the customer will require to know includes the number ofrented videos by the store, customer information regarding videosoverdue, overdue notice, and overdue fees, new video information, andvideos removed from stock. After receiving this information from themanager, the customer then compares the information with themaintained data in the video store by the manager. This comparison iscritical since it helps in assessing any errors in the informationprovided. It is after matching this information that the customerenters into a sales contract with the manager of the video store andpays for the video store based on the sales contract provision. Then,the customer maintains the sales information, while the manager savesthe information of the customer.

Inthis case, the customer willing to purchase a university system willneed to first of all request information concerning the universityfrom the university management. This information may include, theprice of the university organization, condition of the university,and location of the university among other information. Afterrequesting this information, the university management will prepare areport to the customer detailing all the necessary requests from thecustomer. It is after receiving this information that the customerwill enter into a sales contract with the university management. Inthis process, the customer will purchase the university organizationaccording to the terms stipulated in the sales contract. After this,the seller saves the details of the customer, while the customersaves the details of the seller.
