Body:I. Learnt speech writing and the art of putting my ideastogether before speaking.

A.Speech writing is a skill that will help me to identify ideas that Iwant to communicate to the audience (Rodmanet al, 2012).

B.As a restaurant owner, I will regularly need to address gatherings ofcustomers or staff or in conferences.

II.The public speaking class gave me the skills of understanding theaudience before speaking.

A.Through the course, I learnt that I should use verbal and non-verbalcues to create the right mood for the audience

B.As a restaurant owner, I will regularly need to address gatherings ofcustomers or staff or in conferences.

III.I learnt excellent human skills to engage people and clients whilecommunicating and exchanging ideas

A.I learnt that I should appreciate people and create a sense ofinterest in them to listen to me (Wood,2009).

B.As a restaurant owner, I will use this skill to improve my customerrelation experience and make them comfortable to talk to me.

C.The human skills learnt will help improve my relationship with myemployees as a restaurant owner (Jones,2007).

Conclusion:I. Speech writing and the art of putting my ideas together isimportant when addressing staff, business gatherings and clients.

II.I learnt how to engage the audience, which is important for effectivespeaking.

III.The human skills I gained from the public speaking course will helpme in customer relations and employee relations as a restaurant owner
